Human Resource Manager
JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with outstanding people skills to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy, manage our personnel and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Selection
• Design and implement an overall recruiting strategy.
• Formulate plans for meeting the company's manpower requirement and ensure proper utilization of existing human resources to meet organizational objectives.
• Ensure development and updation of job descriptions and job specifications for all positions in the Organization.
• Manage entire life cycle of recruitment process till on-boarding of the candidates.
• Ensure smooth On-boarding of new hires.
• Promote the company’s reputation as “best place to workâ€
• Provide detailed report on Recruitment statistics to the Management.
• Liaising with the PRO on visa process of new and current employees
Performance Appraisals
• Design & implement Performance Management System based on best practices with the aim to provide a fair and transparent performance management across the entire organization.
• Lead the performance management cycle process from start to end and monitor timely and accurate completion of the appraisals (e.g. forms and templates, communications).
• Provide support to line managers in applying the Performance Management System should they face challenges with the implementation.
• Develop tools and support material to help employees and their line managers in understanding the Performance Management System.
• Lead calibration of the ratings & following procedures for the final employee performance evaluation.
• Establish methods to reduce turnover related to poor performance.
Compensation & Benefits
• Guide job analysis, job evaluations and job grading using appropriate methodology
• Review market data and prepare pay scales and benefits schedules based on benchmarking results.
• Design and implement strategic compensation & benefits policies.
• Reviews staff C&B practices across the Group to ensure compliance with company policies, local legislation and guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of staff C&B practices to ensure ongoing competitiveness within the job marketplace.
• Develop specific pay plans and strategies as needed for targeted employee groups as needed to compete with market conditions and trends, ensuring overall internal equity, consistency with Group values and policies, and compliance with local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Training & Development
• Monitor preparation of annual training calendar based on Training needs analysis with annual training budget.
• Monitor learning needs assessments and creating learning plans, both behavioral and functional.
• Provide reporting on key programs and provide feedback reports on learning programs.
• Guide best practice of evaluation of training programs to assess its effectiveness.
• Guide and monitor of Training ROI.
Payroll
• Advise on payroll best practices and procedures.
• Ensure timely running of payroll related data and provides reports as needed.
Acts as subject matter expert for payroll processing transactions.
• Reviews, analyzes and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections using established procedures.
• Analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
• Monitor employee records with compliance & accuracy.
Policies & Strategies
• Develop HR Strategic planning process, ensuring comprehensive strategies, plans and budgets are developed, approved and communicated both within HR and to necessary functions.
• Design & roll out HR policies to ensure policies are fit for current and future purpose and aligned with the business and HR strategy.
• Collaborate with line managers and other departments in Human Resources to create Organizational hierarchy, succession strategies & HR budget aligned to business objectives.
• Manage the review of Company's structures and updating approved changes in the structure/layout.
• Leads key HR cross functional projects as assigned by the
Employee Retention
• Nurture a positive working environment.
• Contribute to the implementation of attraction and retention strategies to ensure company’s retention programs are meet as per management’s expectations.
• Provide guidance for gathering qualitative retention data by facilitating analyzing employee surveys etc.
• Establish Incentive Plans for employee motivation.
• Develop innovative opportunities for advancement and career paths for employees.
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
AD-HOC ACTIVITIES • Assist in Ad-hoc activities
• Prepare reports as requested by the Management
PERFORMANCE MEASURES • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
• Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures with in-depth understanding of the local UAE labor law.
