Sales Executive - Audio/Visual

Pre-requisite skills & training:
1. Minimum 3-5 years technical sales experience in handling sales of Pro Audio and Video Systems.
2. Hands on experience with at least 5 manufacturers.
3. The position is a front-line customer contact role requiring the highest levels of technical capabilities, sales savvy and people skills.
4. Demonstrated comfort working directly with customers in the sales and account management process.
5. Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills. Top notch presentation skills.
6. Team player with very good interpersonal skills and a track record of working closely with colleagues to achieve goals.

- Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage and identify, evaluate, develop and profile new business opportunities and clients within the local market to promote and expand the market share of the company, especially in the oil field.
2. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising customer potential in designated regions.
3. Effective delivery of company’s value proposition via technical presentations, product demonstrations and written or verbal communications.
4. Develop and grow long-term relationships with customers.
5. Manage and interpret customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
6. Negotiate tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
7. Negotiate and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
8. Offer after-sales support services.
9. Administer client accounts.
10. Establish contact with clients, consultants and contractors.
11. Get the company’s products & systems specified with the consultants.
12. Learn about new vendor technology and products.
13. Prepare proposals to the clients’ standard.
14. Analyse costs and sales.
15. Prepare reports for head office.
16. Meet regular sales targets.
17. Record and maintain client contact data.
18. Coordinate sales projects.
19. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
20. Respond to prospect’s technical needs and objections in a timely manner.
21. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
22. Liaise with other members of the Company and other technical experts.
23. Solve client problems.
24. Help in the design of custom-made solutions.
