Finance Consultant - D365
Job Overview
To be able to provide full cycle implementation, consulting, configuration, training, installation and support for clients/business unit using Global Microsoft Dynamics 365 for FO SaaS instance.
D365 Finance Consultant position is responsible for providing functional guidance on customer implementations, upgrades, and support of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Working in partnership with SI Partner Delivery & Support team, the F/O Consult will be responsible for gathering business requirements, fit/gap analysis findings, functional design documents, configure, test scripts, training and progress updates throughout implementation lifecycle. Additionally, interact with clients/business project stakeholders, including C-level management and directors, to elicit business and functional requirements. Function as a subject matter expert for application design, feature optimization, availability, scalability, user experience, visualization, and data integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and especially multicounty/multicurrency COA setup/support.
• Work as part of an implementation team ranging in size from 4-6 members on Enterprise ERP Projects.
• Lead the finance and accounting design process & will require business and application expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX Finance functionality including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank, Budgeting, and Fixed Assets.
• The qualified candidate is expected to fill the role as a subject matter expert on one or multiple projects in analysis, configuration, and testing of Dynamics 365 modules.
• Additionally, the right candidate will be an individual with strong attention to detail in business process improvements and the ability to see the big picture.
• Work collaboratively with other functional & technical project team members to ensure successful & timely implementation
• Actively drive requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation & testing phases of the D365 Finance module suite
• Stay current on product capabilities to implement feature/functions on client projects
Requirements
• Bachelor / master’s degrees in finance specialization (MBA Finance or CA)
• 5+ years Dynamics 365/AX Financials experience.
• Must have 2+ years’ experience with full life-cycle implementation of Dynamics D365 Finance
• Familiarity with financial reporting in D365 and Power BI
• Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices and methodologies
• Ability to do Fit-Gap analysis w.r.t. D365 implementations specifically in FinOps space
• Be the bridge between development team and business.
• Ability to advice customers on best practices and providing scalable, maintainable solutions
• Must have experience and strong working knowledge of MS Dynamics D365 F&O and SCM modules
• Understanding of D365 technical aspects/customizations, configurations, workflows, data management etc
• Understand how to build and maintain positive client and peer relationships
• Understanding of deployments, environment management
• Ability to work independently and as a team player and effectively meet project deliverables on time.
• Excellent verbal, Presentation and written communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic, positive energy and able to maintain a professional presence in difficult client facing situations
• Thrive on continuous self-learning and improvement, possess excellent analytical reasoning, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites within the GCC and must be available after hours to assist as necessary
Additional Plus
• Current certification a plus (D365 and others)
• Previous working experience in System integration/Consulting role/experience
• Experience working D365 Retail module/industry and Point of Sales (POS)
• Driving License in GCC
