We are looking for purchasers for one of our clients.
Job description:
-Should have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.
-Should have connections with raw material suppliers.
-Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.
-Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.
-Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.
-Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards
-Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules
-Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.
-Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
-Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record-keeping and data tracking.
-Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
-Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.
-Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.
-Reviewing bids from suppliers to determine which supplier offers the best price and quality of product.
-Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
