Business development - Port machineries
Responsibilities
1.Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients in the port and logistics sectors.
2.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
3.Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
4.Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
5.Present product demonstrations and technical specifications to clients.
6.Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of port machinery, including cranes, forklifts, reach stackers, and other related equipment.
7.Provide technical consultation and support to clients regarding the equipment’s applications and benefits.
8.Negotiation and Closing: Prepare and deliver competitive proposals, quotations, and contracts.
9.Negotiate terms and close sales agreements effectively.
10.Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the after-sales team to ensure client satisfaction and address any operational concerns.
11.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
12.Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
1.Bachelor’s degree
2.Proven experience in sales, preferably in heavy equipment or port machinery.
3.Strong understanding of port operations, logistics, and machinery.
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5.Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
6.Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
