Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall logistics strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks for the logistics department to drive operational excellence.
2.Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, distribution, warehousing, and inventory management. Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency across the supply chain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory, and ensure timely product availability
3.Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with transportation providers, warehousing partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and rates to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
4.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations, customs procedures, and trade laws related to logistics and transportation. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.
5.Technology and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance visibility, track shipments, and improve overall logistics operations.
Qualifications
1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2.Work Experience: Proven track record of 8+ years in senior-level logistics management, preferably within the furniture, retail, or distribution industries
3.Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and vendor relations.
4.Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software.
