Procurement Officer
Our client is currently hiring for the position of Procurement Officer.
Responsibilities:
. Source vendors and carry out due diligence.
. Obtain cost effective quotations for goods and services and prepare purchase proposals.
. Prepare LPOs and FPOs.
. Purchase Order tracking of all materials ordered.
. Coordinating with vendors, colleagues in remote locations and freight forwarders for specific purchases.
. Update and maintain all PO and tracking registers.
. Coordinating with Logistics and Operations departments for effective receipt of materials.
. Provide competitive vendor pricing and delivery support to the Estimation and Sales departments.
. Obtain relevant documents from vendors (MTC, PDS, MSDS, etc.).
. Place monthly orders for regular office and plant consumables.
