Trade Marketing Executive - Souq Counter FMCG
Functional role:
Territories:
UAE , Qatar , Oman , Bahrain, Kuwait
Channels:
Modern Trade, Hotels, Restaurant, Catering, Industry, Corporate, Kiosk & Boutiques
Assessment and Follow up:-
•Coverage by channel and region
•New restaurant coverage plan with Nielsen report and Sales Team
•Distribution by listing & MSL check
•New counter opening opportunity direction to sales team comparing Universe
•Follow up with production on promotion availability as per retailer calendar plan .
Activation
•Promotion planning along with the Category Managers and Demand Planner .
•ROI on the additional display taken outside the counter
•Making special animations for the counter like the cooking event , raffle , spin the wheel .
•Leaflet Monitoring top 10 chains
•Organizing culinary events along with Food Service Team
•Develop Commercial Tools for Food Service (brochure, catalogues, goodies...)
•Support on tenders to maximise chances of renewing/winning bids
Sales Tools and Assessments :-
•Work closely with sales team to ensure trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives & revenue targets – Sales and Margins to be continuously reviewed to adapt strategy based on market situation
•Updating training manuals like the Tool Books for the Sales Team
•Develop & design planogram with Category Managers
•Weekly market visits to give feedback to the sales team on executions , also meeting chefs and getting feedback on their requirement
•Conduct marketing surveys on new product concept & provide necessary information required for NPD to Category Managers
•Support Sales Team in setting up Kiosks & Boutiques
Time spent with each function :-
• Sales Team / Distributor – 50%

• External Agencies – 10%
• Demand Planner – 5%
